Troubleshooting Guide

Problem: I am having problems routing my top screen ribbon through the bottom case.
Solution: There is a small slit in the bottom case that allows you the push the ribbon cable through. Just take your time and you will get it. Just be sure not to pull to hard as you may rip the ribbon cable.

Problem: My top screen ribbon cable ripped, what can I do?
Solution: You will need to get a new top screen.

Problem: I am not getting any picture on the screens after installing the new case.
Solution: Make sure you have installed everything correctly. Make sure your network board is installed correctly.

Problem: My DS turns on and then turns off after a couple seconds.
Solution: Your top screen ribbon cable is most likely not plugged in snugly enough to the motherboard. If that does not fix the problem change top screens. If that still does not work then you will most likely need a new DS motherboard.

Problem: My DS top screen turns on but only shows a white screen.
Solution: Again check your top screen ribbon cable. If that is not the problem, you may have a bad top screen. If that is not the problem it is most likely an issue with your DS motherboard.

Problem: My DS bottom screen turns on but only shows a white screen.
Solution: Make sure all of the ribbon cables are nice and snug to the motherboard.

Problem: My DS touch screen does not work anymore.
Solution: This is a very common problem. All you need to do is make sure the tiny ribbon cable that plugs in by the network board is connected 100%.
