As in the past games, link up with a friend, rival, or fellow trainer to trade or battle Pokémon. You can link up to your previous version of POKÉMON RED or BLUE or YELLOW to bring all of your favorite Pokémon into the new game. This version of the game includes Pokémon found only in POKÉMON GOLD.
