So, over the weekend, I was getting pretty bored. Then I thought, hey, OoT was a really fun game, what if I see how fast I can beat it. So, if anyone out there happens to come across this, give me your opinions on this:

1) Is it worth the time to get Epona? or is it faster to use warps and just hoof it?

2) If I took the time to get the Biggeron's Sword, is it even worth it? (I'm pretty sure on this one)

All contributions are appreciated!

Never played this game fully through, so I can't help out, sorry! If you need help with Link to the past I've got you covered there.

^ Agreed. I've beat a few Zelda games, but not this one. Windwaker has been my favorite so far...

I finished it, but only in spurts and hardly a "speedy" fashion. Have you watched other speed runs for OoT? They may give you a good idea of what's needed and what's not?

Biggoron's sword would be a waste of time. Epona it would depend. The teleports are faster, but the horse greatly increases the speed at which you can reach the teleport points the first time. I'd say it's worth it, especially if you can beat the race on your first try.

I'm always impressed when people master a specific game. I have too much ADD for that. I have games that I bought that I haven't even played...

I don't have games I haven't played, but my problem is actually sticking with a game long enough to finish it. If I can't beat it in 30-40 hours of gameplay i typically set it aside and play something else. I may or may not ever go back. There are a lot of RPGs I've only played half way through.

yeah, I was having that problem with FFVII, but I've gotten some encouragement recently to continue...
