Gaming Generations on Rib Mountain Drive in Wausau, along with the assistance of Focus Fire, is bringing you the video-gaming fun @ WausaubiCon! From open gaming, to tournaments, to a name contest! There will be fun available for anyone: from the serious gamer to those just looking to have some friendly fun with friends and family. Check us out in the Atrium @ Wausau's Plaza Hotel & Suites!

For those of you just looking to have fun with friends and family, this is definitely for YOU! Whenever the tournament stations are not scheduled for use, users may "rent" a game from the info/checkout area and play at those stations as well.

NAME CONTEST
We have brooded and brooded over what name to give our tournaments, without much luck! We will be accepting ideas at info/checkout, on forums, and on Facebook. If we find a name we like, the person who comes up with the winning name will get a very special gift from us! Be "that person who came up with the AWESOME name"! If more than one person provides us with the same winning name, we will pick the person that submitted their idea first.

Shooters (Team) - 2v2 Call of Duty Black Ops, 2v2 Halo Reach - $20/Team/Game (otherwise $30/Team/Game at-the-door)
Fighters (Individual) - Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition, Mortal Kombat IX, Marvel vs Capcom 3, Tekken 6, Super Smash Bros Brawl - $10/Player/Game (otherwise $15/Player/Game at-the-door)

1st Place: 70% of Pot + $50/Team
2nd Place: 20% of Pot + $20/Team
3rd Place: 10% of Pot + $10/Team
Individual Fighters
1st Place: 70% of Pot + $50

Notes:

Please register before the convention closes for the night on Friday. Late registration fee is an additional $5/Player/Game.
All players should check in before 9:15 AM on Saturday to determine when they will be playing.
Players are responsible for finding out when they are scheduled throughout the day, and should show up 15 minutes before they are scheduled to play. Otherwise, they will forfeit their turn.
Players are responsible for making sure they adhere to all tournament rules. Otherwise, they will forfeit their turn.
Each player will be required to have a day pass or weekend pass in addition to paying the tournament registration fees.
If you already have a regular weekend or Saturday day pass for WausaubiCon, you do NOT need an additional tournament day pass.
On day of tournaments, please be sure to bring your PayPal receipt for the tournament(s) you registered for. If you registered for a Tournament day pass, you will need to bring your PayPal receipt for that as well. You will only be able to enter the convention if 1) You have a tournament registration receipt AND tournament day pass receipt, or 2) You have a WausaubiCon weekend or day pass.
There will be NO refunds.
Players, please bring your own controller.
Players under 17 will need to bring in a signed permissions slip from their parent/legal guardian HERE.
