Anyone here play any Valve games still? Yes, they may be a tad bit old, but games like Counter Strike: Source have tons of in-game, "mods" if you could even call them that. That they are bound to stay around for a massive amount of time. Also if so what are your Steam usernames? LoneSpartan013 here.

Yea, but there is a higher chance you could mess it up while building it.

From my experience there is a pretty slim chance you are going to mess up anything while building, unless you are doing something naturally risky like extreme overclocking or using water to cool your processor.
Also, I don't currently have a real computer. I have a mac. My real computer's motherboard died and I come to find out that it was so old I can't find new processors for it anymore and a pci express card twice as powerful as my current video card costs 1/3 as much. _________________ completed reviews

Well you could fry something with static electricity (CPU, etc...) And a Mac? Well at least you agree that it isn't a "real" computer, lol.

Half Life the original was one of my fav PC games back in the day. Sadly I mostly play consoles now seeing that my PC is 6 years old now It still runs great though! _________________

I think it is.... Maybe we could take up legal actions to make them give out free video games?

I guess when I was thinking about how hard it is to mess up a computer, I didn't consider basic things like dropping them or static electricity. Static is a pretty simple one to deal with. Just make sure you are grounded. All you need to ground yourself is to touch the case. They sell wristbands that you can clip to things to keep you grounded, but really all you need to do is just touch or hold onto the case when you go near any sensitive parts.
And yes, the mac is not a real computer. It does the job of surfing the internet and watching movies but thats about it. The one nice thing is that the battery lasts forever on it and the power cord is magnetic so you don't have to worry about people tripping over it and damaging it. _________________ completed reviews

If you're not careful you could drop a new Dell XPS too. Anything can get messed up if you're not as careful. It's pretty easy to avoid frying stuff with static.

Isn't it illegal to own a game store if you don't own a gaming PC? |
evan doesnt really count PC's as gaming platforms anyway....
and i have always used a wristband ground.. really easy, dont have to worry about profane then.
and i am typing this from my new BADASS pc! Pieced it all together from Newegg for 520. quad core 2.3(many online have overclocked it to 3.0 on air.. with no troubles.. its tempting.. lol), 4-soon to be 8 gigs of ram, ati radeon hd 4850 graphics card, :p
so if anyone of you bitches wanna come play some counter strike with the master... hit me up, sweeperman222 is my id on steam.. but my in game name will always be Shaving Ryans Privates" lol i know its awsome.. have to get it all set back up on this PC.. but if your serious about actualy playing some, lets set up a time and date or somthin _________________
