Does anyone know how to unbrick a psp slim? I have already tried using a pandora+mmc. All it did was show a blank screen and didnt go to that little boot sequence. I have also tried dif versions of cfw and dif ways of installing none so far have worked.

When you load Pandora, both green and orange should go on. If they both go on and nothing still. Like you said, a blank screen, probably LCD gave way?

Both should be on, that means, the memory card isn't configured correctly for Pandora to work.

Ok so I have a psp phat and a psp slim(bricked) I thought i might be able to make the mmc with it but i dont think i can so im going to borrow my friends slim. Also the link you gave me all need custom firmware inorder to run them in the first place.....i think. Am I just missing a step here? _________________

Well, one thing is for sure, you do need a modded PSP to make the pandora battery. The MMC you can generate directly from the PC with the right package.

well i have the psp slim battery pandoraed already(I cut the circuit line) but ive tried a few mmc packages they all say they are successful but when i put the pandora combo into the bricked slim it has no reaction. I know the battery works cuz i get the light to turn on when i insert it. So the thing thats not working is the mmc. Im borrowing my friends psp slim 2marra so Ill see if i can make it with his. If it doesnt work with his im just going to say profane it. At least Ill have a nice door stop. _________________

Just see if it loads up on his PSP slim. If it does, then probably something wrong with the memory card reader on your slim psp. Besides, you can still get some good cash from the bricked PSP if you cant get it to work.

what up dawg!?
Those Magic Memory Card packages dont work. The part where you have to use the cmd promt to install the one files(sorry i forget what it is) is definatly needed. You cannot use some easy installer that extracts everything for you. That is more then likely your problem. |
