Gaming Generations & The La Crosse Public Library Present:
Heat For Your Seat: Halo Reach Edition A monthly tournament to get your fix until Focus Fire on December 11th & 12th.

HALO REACH TOURNEY INFORMATION:
- 4 v 4
- Using Xbox 360 consoles (US)
- Limit 32 teams (128 players)
- Double elimination
- $5 tournament entrance fee per player ($20 per team)
- 100% payout from tournament entrance fee (70/20/10)
- Cash Bonus $60 for 1st place team
- Cash Bonus $30 for 2nd place team
- Cash Bonus $10 for 3rd place team
- Playing on flat panel monitor (exact size and brand may vary)
- You may bring your own headset
- Wired Xbox 360 controllers will be at each station, no wireless controllers allowed!

IN DEPTH RULES HALO REACH

1. Players must use wired controllers. Wired controllers WILL be provided if you do not have your own.
2. There will be up to 3 total rounds played per match up (Best of 3). For each round played, each team will select a map and game type (ex. Team A wants Team Slayer for round 1, Team B wants CTF for round 2). If a round goes to the third game, Focus Fire will select the final game type to be played. Swat is BANNED from this tournament
3. Players that wish to use headphones are responsible for hooking up their own headphones at the event.
4. Players cannot use a headphone that requires a power outlet, but may use headphones that require USB power if there is an available USB port.
5. If we run a Free For All tournament, players are allowed to use their own headphones/headset. If both players at the TV wish to use headphones and neither player has a splitter, neither player will be allowed to use their headphones.
6. Communication between players or spectators during the FFA will result in that player being eliminated from the tournament.
7. Trying to manipulate the bracket in the FFA or 4v4 competitions will result in the player/team being eliminated from the tournament.
8. Focus Fire will select the map that the Slayer FFA will be played on.
9. Players may not unplug anything from the Xbox 360 or TV. They may use any available USB port or bring a USB splitter to increase the number of USB ports on the 360 console.
10. Players must play the game types in the order that they are listed on the game types page.
11. Teams will be seeded randomly
12. Rounds will be a best-of-3 series. Teams that meet in the Loser’s Bracket after playing in the Winner’s Bracket will play an extended best-of-7 series.
13. Teams should report to their station within 5 minutes after their match is announced. Failure to report in time may result in forfeiture.
14. Teams may not start a game without the other teams permission. A staff member may ask you to wait to start a game.
15. Teams may not replace a player or coach after they register and check in. Players should plan on being present for the entire tournament. If a player must leave the event for any reason, their team will forfeit any future matches.
16. If a player/team has any complaint or concern about possible cheating by another team, it must be brought to the Tournament Directors attention before the start of the next series of matches. This includes disputes of CTF game times.
17. Excessively taunting the opposing team or spectators, or using profanity will result in a warning. If a team accumulates 3 warnings over the course of the tournament, they will be eliminated from the tournament.
18. Spectators may not taunt or communicate with either team while the match is in progress. If they do, they will be asked to leave the station. If they continue to break this rule over the course of the tournament, they will be removed from the respective tournament area and not allowed back for the rest of the event.
19. Threatening or attempting to harm another competitor or spectator (asking them to step outside, throwing controllers, etc…) WILL NOT BE TOLERATED. Doing so will result in your team being eliminated from the tournament and your being removed from the venue for the remainder of the tournament.
20. Abuse of any tournament staff may result in being removed from the venue.
21. In the event of equipment failure (TV/360 losing power, etc…) The game will be restarted.
22. Players are responsible for their belongings for the duration of the event. Players should realize that many Xbox 360 controllers look the same and a distinguishing mark may be used to prove ownership. Please respect the Focus Fire equipment.
