Halo 3 Tournament June 14th at Gaming Generations
Hello again, I am happy to announce our next tournament is coming up Sat. June 14th. The game at hand, Halo 3. We will be starting at 10:00 a.m., your start time will depend on when you sign up for the event. The tournament will span throughout most of the day, it will most likely end around 7p.m.
Teams will consist of two players, so be sure to pick your teammate wisely! You may come in individually and we will find you a player to match up with. Players will need to cover the $5 entrance fee.
Prizes will vary on how many people show up to the event. We should be able to give away at least $200 to the winning team, $100 to the 2nd place team and whatever we have left for 3rd and 4th place teams. It may be more or less, again it depends on how many players we get. Also, the top 8 players from the tournament will qualify to try out for our summer Halo 3 tournament team! The official Rules will be posted within the next few days.
For more information, give us a call at 608 788 5588 or CONTACT US For a map to the store CLICK HERE

| Why is the tournament 2v2v2v2? No skill is involved with a multi-team style tournament. why wouldn't there be two games going on at once with two 2v2 games? I just do not see the logic in having mlg multi team and pick the winners to be sponsored. This tourney should really just be 2v2. Two games going at once with the 8 lcd tv's. You wont find the best players with this format imo and won't find this setup at any other tournies either. |

You are correct that you won't find this setup at any other tournies. I think that makes it more fun. If Minnwild says it will be 2v2v2v2 better start practicing multi team then. Either way the tournament will be exciting. _________________ Formerly known as Ex Tenebris Lux

The way we are going to be picking kids to be sponsored is by individually players, not the team. If you are amazing and get 30 kills for your time in one round, but your teammate gets 5, we would obviously take one of you to try out for the team, not both.
I don't understand what is wrong with this setup? It will be more fun playing eight players instead of 4.

The players "top teams" will move on and will win the tournament, that's for sure. There is no "I" in team, so the top teams that move on will have good individual players. I guess that would mean... they got skills...
I just realized that I spelled a word wrong in the main picture, god I do that everytime! _________________ Old School is where it's at.

If I can get one of my buddies to join with me, I'll definitely be in it. If not, I'm not too sure. Can we come in and register the day of, or is there a deadline? _________________
