My old AMD Athlon 64 4000+ died a few weeks back. So now I had to get a new one. I stick with AMD and ATI cause I never had problems with them, where as Nvidia and Intel, I had so much head ache.
my simple new rig is.
AMD Phenom X4 9100e 4 x 1.8 ghz
ATI RADEON HD4670 1GB DDR3
8 gigs DDR 2 PC PC 6400 800 mhz 240 pin
2,114 gigs total of hard drive space.
Windows Vista Pro 64 bit.
28" widescreen LCD now..
Also Windows 7 64 bit.

Not bad, I prefer Nvidia and Intel. I just need pure power, planning to try the new i7 pretty soon, once I part out my computer  |

I heard the phenoms were very nice. Granted its not as powerful as the i7 but still would be great for anyday users. I was looking at building one and I picked the phenom. Not just for performance but the sheer cost of it. Saved me a couple hundred with the combo of the processor and board.

| the mobo with this wont allow overclocking or any adjustments.. im looking into redoing the bios on it.. if possible. |
