Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars

By the looks of the picture above, it looks like it is going to be like the old PS versions, which really were not that great.

Anyways, is anybody actually looking forward to this game?

Not I. GTA is stale, IMO.

Depends a lot on the music and the variety of the missions. If the missions are good or if there's novel exploitation of the touch-screen, I'm in.

From friends and reviews, this game is a fresh addition to the series. A lot of what used to be clunky with the original sky-view GTAs is better. Also, the touch screen is utilized in a way new to the franchise. You use the stylus to unscrew panels on devices, cut and rearrange wires to break into electronic security, and unpack and assemble a sniper rifle. But those are just a few of the many examples. I personally haven't played it, but it seems to be one of the better DS games released in the past few months.

Didn't like this game much, reminded to much of the PS versions.

I have been playing this and I must say it is very fun. If you happen to have a DS and any interest in the GTA series, this game is a must. The sound and detail are great. Also for me, the stylus controls weren't that bad.
