We are happy to announce the largest gaming event in the history of the Coulee Region. From video games to table top games, this event will bring together gamers from all over. It will be held at the La Crosse Center to help accommodate for the amount of people we are expecting to show up. Local vendors will be there from around the area to help show their support for this large scale event. The best part, all tournaments are 100% free to enter and open to the public! Even if you do not plan on participating, we hope that you will show up to support this gaming event.

GENERAL INFORMATION

- Event is on MAY 1st 2010 at the La Crosse Center
- 9:00-10:30am tournament sign ups
- CODMW2 & H3 tournaments officially start @ 11:00a.m
- Madden 10 tournament starts @ 1:00p.m
- Super Street Fighter tournament starts @ 2:00p.m
- Magic : The Gathering starts & Warhammer @ 12:00 noon
- Tournaments are all 100% free!
- Sign ups are day of, no online sign ups (because tournaments are free)
- Free tournaments being ran throughout the day
- Halo 3 LAN going on all day
- Live DJ, Andrew scribble from Stevens Point will be rockin the place
- Play for free on 2 or more arcades brought to you by Stansfield
- We will have 16 networked gaming computers setup for use
- We will have up to 6 cafe style laptops for internet browsing purposes
- T.V.’s will be setup all around w/ gaming systems ready to play

- If you would like to bring your own setup (BYOS), meaning t.v. gaming system and controllers to practice on while you wait to play in the tournament or to host side tournaments on, feel free to! We will have extra tables setup for this reason.

MAGIC : THE GATHERING (Table Top) INFO

- Dedicated room for table top tournament gaming
- Peasant format
- Decks are 60 card minimum, with 15 card sideboard if desired (sideboard must be exactly 15 cards)
- Each deck and sideboard can only have 5 uncommons total between them, all other cards must be
commons
- The most recent printing of each card will be used to determine rarity. Ex: Serra Angel was originally printed at uncommon but was most recently printed as a rare and therefore is not legal in the format.
- No gold bordered cards, no silver bordered cards, and nothing on the Legacy banned list which can be found here

THE VIDEO GAME TOURNAMENTS ARE OPEN TO:

1) PERSONS WHO ARE 17 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER AT TIME OF ENTRY;
2) OR PERSONS WHO ARE 13 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER WITH A PARENT'S PERMISSION SLIP

Participation in this event constitutes contestant's full and
unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules.

- Day of event (May 1st) at La Crosse Center on 300 Harborview Plaza.
- Have a team name in mind. Once a Team has been
set no player substitutions will be permitted unless absolutely needed.

TIES:
- For any Round, if the game is tied after the time limit for a given
match, the round will be replayed.

GENERAL:
- Gaming Generations, at their sole discretion, reserve the right to
disqualify any Contestant who violates these Official Rules. By
entering, all Contestants accept and agree to abide by the terms of
these Official Rules. Contestants must comply with any security
procedures, measures and instructions imposed by the Sponsors, and reserve the right in their sole discretion to suspend or cancel my participation due to anynon-compliance with any instruction, security procedure or inappropriate behavior or misconduct.

POLICIES:
1. Gaming Generations will not tolerate contestants that cause problems or attempt to undermine the positive atmosphere at the event. This includes Contestants that cheat, dispute on purpose, or repeatedly abuse contestants. Violators will be dealt with accordingly including possible removal from the Tournament. As with all accusations, valid proof must be provided.
2. Abuse of our volunteer staff will not be tolerated in any form.
This includes written messages or verbal comments. Violators will be
removed from the tournament.
3. Usernames, blast messages, logos, avatars, and website links should be kept appropriate.

CHEATING:
- We have a zero tolerance policy for cheating. Contestants caught
cheating, “glitching”, or abusing in game mechanics in any way will be
removed from the Tournament.
- If anybody is caught changing teams during a match, that team will forfeit that game.
- If a player accidentally starts out on the wrong team, the match will be restarted immediately. If the same team has issues when restarting for a second time, that team will forfeit that round.
- Care package glitching will not be allowed.

REFEREES:
1. If a contestant has any problems during a match, s/he may contact a Staff member to answer any questions or receive assistance. Please contact the referees first as this is their job.
2. If a Staff member is called into a match for any reason, all
Contestants must comply with the staff member’s instructions. Failure to do so will result in disqualification from the Tournament.
3. Verbally abusing staff members called during a match will not be
tolerated. The contestant violating this rule will be disqualified.

PROOF:
1. Contestants need to show proof of winning each game in a match to be given the win for the game. All proof must be clearly visible and
show the in-game full scoreboard during the completion of that
game.The proof must all clearly show both contestants to be considered valid.
2. For all glitching and cheating claims, the burden of proof is on
the accuser. To submit a glitching or cheating claim.
3. Equipment failure claims are up to the sole discretion of the
judge. (I.E. Controller button not functioning or lag). We're playing
with brand new controllers on HD screens, so it's unlikely that the equipment will be faulty.

GAME PLAY:
- All matches must be played in their entirety unless both teams agree to postpone the match or reset. If agreed a referee can be contacted to witness the agreement details.
- The bracket for CODMW2 & Halo 3 will be best of 3 SINGLE ELIMINATION.
- Teams not fully present for a match w/in 10 minutes will forfeit.

MATCHES:
1. Contestants may not delay a match for more than 3 minutes while in game.
2. Starting a Game with the wrong configurations is your own
responsibility and not grounds for a reset; unless all participants
are in agreement.
3. If a player does not show after 10 minutes of the scheduled match
time, that player forfeits the match.
4. If the Party Leader/Host wrongly ends a game, the player will
forfeit the match.
5. A "Lag Test" will be completed prior to starting the tournament.
6. If any player disconnects on purpose during the game, he or she's team forfeits the match.
7. Teams will have approximately 3 minutes for setup before the game starts.
