Fun tourney.
I enjoyed the MLG rules, and the small amount of teams that showed up.. Moved things faster, and there just wasn't a general clutter.
Big up's to GG and the Library,
also the team that started with a T[ritium?], and Beatdown Crew, just for overall respect. I appreciate teams that don't act like douche's when playing.
No ups for whatever team we beat in the second round, it's not hard to shake someones hand, or say good game back.

Fun tourney!
i was on team klrz and was the person that made my team loose when we were up 4-0 with 20 secs left by taking out the riot sheild  .
no hard feelings to beetdown crew or hub. its fun making rivals, makes victory so much sweeter.
SnD was somewhat camping but not to bad. Hq in my mind would of been better but im not complaining.
Good job Evan, John the rest of the guys and Lax Public libiary for hosting this event and i will be looking forward to more tournaments from gg.
Gratz to WaS on the win. we lost to them semifinals 2-1.

To start this post I would just to give Gaming Generations a well deserved thank you from the BeatDown Crew for putting on another great tourney. Especially since they gave a 100% payout back to the players! It was fun and the FFA was nice little change of pace.
I was just wondering after the fact if the 10 second spawn delay was for 6 player teams and not 4. It seemed very unbalanced but that is something to maybe consider for next time.

Btw that's spelled Beatdown not beetdown.
I can see the point you're trying to make but I will say the games were much more enjoyable when playing teams that were respectful and courteous (hub, tritium, wutang). I hope to see them at more events in the future. It's easier to take a loss to a respectful team over a team that is using profanity during every kill. Teams are entitled to smack talk but I think we are all mature enough to just play the "game" without the insults.
After getting that off my chest I would like to say good game to both WaS and KLRZ. It's fun to compete against skilled players. I can't wait till the next tourney. I know we will be there once again. Good Luck on Live/GameBattles everyone till the next one. |

Hell yeah man, I enjoyed playing you guys (Beatdown). For one, it gave our team a huge boost in confidence. We hung with you guys up until Demo. We took SD to 7, and CTF was a nail biter. You guys raped us in Demo though. I always appreciate some respect and good sportsmanship.
I am saddened I havent got to play either WaS or KLRZ in a tourney yet.. Good competition only makes you better.
See y'all at the next one, probably with another different team name.[/quote]

Agreed fully i like WaS and KLRZ but u get a lil too cocky and its really sickening and immature.... but im looking forward to play with all u guys again!

First off, thank you to all of the Gaming Generations employees for putting on this event. I felt it was a great success and I had a ton of fun. That being said, I had a great time playing against teams like Wutang, Tritium, and Hub Starz. Some were better competition than others, but we all said "nice shot" or "good round" after each game. It was a much better way to play through the tourney.
Now, I do understand it was a kinda sh**ty that KLRZ lost the first round to us due to the Riot Shield, but in all fairness those are the rules. And we did win the SnD 4-1. There was a LOT of crap talking that entire time, but it was all frustration, which I understand well from personal experience. I agree that WaS felt they shouldn't have lost to us the first time, but the trash talk was really excessive. Overall, we did lose to a better team, and I have no problem admitting that at all. I really enjoy playing good teams, but I think if we cut down on the frustrated sh*t talking it would be much more enjoyable for anyone. |
