Do you prefer the Sega Master System, Genesis, Sega CD, 32X, Game Gear, Saturn, Dreamcast??
IMO the Genesis is #1, with the Dreamcast at a close 2nd. |

| Dreamcast. The homebrew for it is still very popular. Actually, I think it's more alive now than during it's launch. |

Genesis, had the greatest games I've played to date (7thGen included). I'm still pulling all-nighters on Phantasy Star II & IV, Sword of Vermillion, and the Warsong/Langrisser imports. At a time when 3d was still relatively unheard of on a console, they more than made up for it with storyline, INCREDIBLE replay value, and a depth to the characters that anyone could get lost in. The Master System may have been my first console, but if it wasn't for the Genesis, I would have taken up something like sports...(shudder). _________________

I loved the Genesis, Sonic games when I was little were the best. And then games like Altered Beast, Mortal Kombat, Turtles, Dinosaurs for Hire and others came along! _________________

| Genesis is the best. Dreamcast could have been, but it only lasted like 2 years. Sonic 2 is the first game I can remember playing. Metal Sonic used to seem impossible. |

There were 2 major problems with the dreamcast. One you could easily pirate games and two, you there were way to many arcade based games made that had no replay value. In order for a system to make it you need quality games. The pirating games thing happens with every system, so that was a very small problem with the DC.
It's tough competing with Sony & then when the GameCube came out and Xbox it was way to much competition. I still think the Dreamcast was by far the most revolutionary system to ever release. At the time it came out, it was completely amazing. _________________

Genesis was always my favorite, and I still have one, although not very many games. I was a big fan of the Saturn too, that poor system was underrated. Games like NiGHTS: Into Dreams, mr. Bones, Three Dirty Dwarves, Guardian Heroes, I still have that system and several games for it. I really liked the Dreamcast but had a hard time finding games that I like, aside from Marvel vs. Capcom 2. _________________ completed reviews

32X! Just because of how high you could stack those games. Genny + 32X + Sonic & Knuckles + Sonic 2 = Leaning Tower of Sonic Team. _________________

Even better stack on...
Sega CD + Genesis II (stack on style) + 32X + Sonic @ Knuckles + Sonic 3 = An even taller stack, haha. _________________

I had that stack actually, although the 32x was dead by the time I picked it up on clearance at ShopKo _________________ completed reviews
