THE TOURNAMENT IS OPEN TO:

Participation in this Tournament constitutes contestant's full and
unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules.

- This Tournament consists of a 16 team bracket in which teams of four will compete. Each "round" of play will consist of 3 maps with 7500 point or 10 minute cap (whichever happens first).

- In order to compete in this Tournament in a timely fashion, teams must sign-up at 10am.
- Day of Tournament (February 20th) at Gaming Generations Stevens Point.
- Have a team name in mind. Once a Team has been
set no player substitutions will be permitted unless absolutely needed.

FINALS:
- Toward the end of the evening; four Finalist Teams will compete
against each other in a single elimination best out of 3 match until one Team remains and is declared the Grand Prize winner.

TIES:
- For any Round, if the game is tied after the time limit for a given
match, the round will be replayed.

PRIZES:
$200 grand prize, $100 gift card 2nd place prize.

MAPS:
The 1st 3 maps for the first round will be Terminal, Sub Base & Highrise. Other round maps will be decided upon the day of the tournament.

GENERAL:
- Gaming Generations, at their sole discretion, reserve the right to
disqualify any Contestant who violates these Official Rules. By
entering, all Contestants accept and agree to abide by the terms of
these Official Rules. Contestants must comply with any security
procedures, measures and instructions imposed by the Sponsors, and reserve the right in their sole discretion to suspend or cancel my participation due to anynon-compliance with any instruction, security procedure or inappropriate behavior or misconduct.

POLICIES:
1. Gaming Generations will not tolerate Contestants that cause problems or attempt to undermine the positive atmosphere at the Library. This includes Contestants that cheat, dispute on purpose, or repeatedly abuse Contestants. Violators will be dealt with accordingly including possible removal from the Tournament. As with all accusations, valid proof must be provided.
2. Abuse of our volunteer Staff will not be tolerated in any form.
This includes written messages or verbal comments. Violators will be
removed from the tournament.
3. Usernames, blast messages, logos, avatars, and website links should be kept appropriate.

CHEATING:
- We have a zero tolerance policy for cheating. Contestants caught
cheating, “glitching”, or abusing in game mechanics in any way will be
removed from the Tournament.
- If anybody is caught changing teams during a match, that team will forfeit that game.
- If a player accidentally starts out on the wrong team, the match will be restarted immediately. If the same team has issues when restarting for a second time, that team will forfeit that round.
- Care package glitching will not be allowed.

REFEREES:
1. If a Contestant has any problems during a match, s/he may contact a Staff member to answer any questions or receive assistance. Please contact the Referees first as this is their job.
2. If a Staff member is called into a match for any reason, all
Contestants must comply with the Staff member’s instructions. Failure to do so will result in disqualification from the Tournament.
3. Verbally abusing Staff members called during a match will not be
tolerated. The Contestant violating this rule will be disqualified.

PROOF:
1. Contestants need to show proof of winning each game in a match to be given the win for the game. All proof must be clearly visible and
show the in-game full scoreboard during the completion of that
game.The proof must all clearly show both Contestants to be considered valid.
2. For all glitching and cheating claims, the burden of proof is on
the accuser. To submit a glitching or cheating claim.
3. Equipment failure claims are up to the sole discretion of the
judge. (I.E. Controller button not functioning or lag). We're playing
with brand new controllers on HD screens, so it's unlikely that the equipment will be faulty.

GAME PLAY:
- All matches must be played in their entirety unless both teams agree to postpone the match or reset. If agreed a referee can be contacted to witness the agreement details.
- The bracket will be best of 3 single elimination.
- Teams not present for a match w/in 5 minutes will forfeit.

SETTINGS:
1. The tournament will be played on Call of Duty:MW2 for the Xbox 360.
2. The tournament will be played in LAN mode with XBOX Live Unlocks. Wired controllers will be provided.

Number of Lives: Unlimited
3rd Person: Disabled
Hardcore Mode: Disabled
Deathstreak Rewards: Enabled

MATCHES:
1. Contestants may not delay a match for more than 3 minutes while in game.
2. Starting a Game with the wrong configurations is your own
responsibility and not grounds for a reset; unless all participants
are in agreement.
3. If a player does not show after 5 minutes of the scheduled match
time, that player forfeits the match.
4. If the Party Leader/Host wrongly ends a game, the player will
forfeit the match.
5. A "Lag Test" will be completed prior to starting the tournament.
6. If any player disconnects during the game, he or she forfeits the match.
7. Teams will have approximately 3 minutes for setup before the game starts.
8. Matches will be 10 minutes each or first to 7500. If we have 16+ teams matches may get moved to 5 minutes in order to finish quicker.
