What a busy night it was at Gaming Generations! We want to thank all of our loyal customers for making this a night to remember!

We expected a higher volume of sales on this game compared to any other, but we never expected the number to reach as high as it has. The previous best selling games w/in the first 48 hours were Halo 3 at 55 copies and Grand Theft Auto 4 at 68 copies. At the midnight release alone we had both of those games beat. As of today, less than 48 hours after the release of Call of Duty 4 MW2, the number of games we have sold including our Stevens Point location are as follows.

Xbox 360 - 159 games sold
Playstation 3 - 63 games sold

Within the first 20 minutes after the midnight release kicked off we had sold over 130 games for the Xbox 360 & PS3 combined. In the upcoming days we will keep everybody up to date w/ the numbers sold on this game. Thank you very much to everyone who has purchased a copy thus far from us, we REALLY appreciate the business. We urge those who haven't to stop in and pick up a copy, it's incredible. A few pictures are posted below at our La Crosse store for the midnight release. 5 minutes after 12 it was so busy that people were lining out the door.
