I just recently learned about Shining Force after looking through the Wii's VC. After hearing that it's practically the ancestor of Fire Emblem, I wanna try it.

I always insist that Toejam and Earl(1991) is one of the greatest games ever made. I recommend trying it if you can find it. I worry that TJ&E 3 killed the company, as their site hasn't seen an update in 6 years.

I thought about getting that one from the VC, but I'm feeling too cheap right now.

One thing to remember about the first TJ&E is that it was a 2 player game with a 1 player option. It's really best if you have somebody to play it with. My brother and I spent many snow days playing it.

Looks good. Tack up Phantasy Star IV, Warsong, and if Toejam&Earl's up (granted it wasn't console exclusive, it was better than SNES had), you can't forget about good old EWJ (the only superhero who's abbreviation was more syllables than his name was......GAARRRROOOOVY!!!!

I forgot about Earthworm Jim. I loved that game, and EWJ 2. I hear they are working on another one, although Shiny is no longer involved.

There were a lot of good multiplatform games that were on the Genesis. Aladdin, Cool Spot, Micro Machines.

But we were doing Sega in general weren't we?
Sega CD: Sonic CD....I'm sure there were others....

Sega Saturn: NiGHTS: into dreams, Guardian Heroes, Shining the Holy Arc, Three Dirty Dwarves, mr. Bones, Panzer Dragoon.

Dreamcast: Powerstone, Marvel Vs. Capcom 2, Crazy Taxi, Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver, Phantasy Star Online

The Genesis was the best for sport games in the day. NBA Jam, Madden 05 and later, NBA Live 95 and later, MK (with blood code) and Ultimate MK 3 cause it was the s**t. Get me a beer and a multi tap baby.

I remember Zombies Ate My Neighbors. that game was hard. the only survivor that couldn't die was the fat guy in the pool.
