I always liked Final Fantasy VIII even though most people didn't. III and V are good ones also. Just wondering what everyone else thought.

I loved VIII... probably because it was the first one I played. Still, I loved the junction system and found it a very fun thing to tweak. I also liked being able to simply steal magic.

III I just beat and I thought it was good as well. I loved that you could pretty much go explore really early in the game, even if you can't get to everything right away. The job system is sweet! However, I hated having to grind to level my characters up so I could beat the end boss and I also hated how you could only save on the world map.

I'm currently playing VII for the first time actually...

VII is the first one i played. Its a great game. I'm playing VI right now. Then I'm not sure which one i'll move on to. I've been on a Final Fantasy kick lately.

Me too. For some reason I've been obsessed with JRPGs recently. Probably because of playing (and loving) Golden Sun.

I've never played that one before. I played Crisis core and it got me in the final fantasy mood. They are addicting.

I guess I'll be missing out on that one since I don't have a PSP. :-\

But, if you have a GBA or DS, you should definitely check out Golden Sun.

I'm progressing through FFVII slowly. I start playing it too late at night and end up fading in and out of sleep while playing.

I have never beaten a final fantasy game. I got to the last battle in FFVII, but then saw my brother beat it and figure that was good enough. I never really got sucked into that series. The tales series is the one I got hooked into after playing tales of symphonia

I'm the same way, I just don't get sucked into any of the Final Fantasy games, or the Dragon Quest games either.

I did get sucked into Skies of Arcadia. And I've been sucked into some of the Shining series.

Remember the massage mini-game? I was like "I'm done. No more."

I don't think I've even played VII since I last posted in here. That tells me something... even III got me addicted to beating it.

I should give the final fantasy series another try. Ever since I found the tales series I havn't wanted to play turn base combat. Perhaps I should try final fantasy twelve
