Assassin's Creed, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Rings of Fate, Alone in the Dark, and Myst? It is going to be a great year to own a DS! I'm glad I bought mine

I want the Alone in the Dark, and Harvest Moon Island of Happiness (I almost bought the regular one, but if there's a new one coming out, I should check that).

Only games I'm slightly interested in is Alone in the Dark or Myst.
I don't enjoy the DS very much, but I don't have a problem with it.
I just thought the games on the Gameboy system were lacking a lot - even growing up.
Now with what I saw and played on the PSP, I feel like there is no reason to play the DS as the games are sub-par, in my opinion.

I'm surprised the PSP is as popular as it is. The graphics are almost to much to put in a hand held. Without the T.V. out on the new psp's I would never consider buying one. Not to mention battery life is weak. Emulation on the PSP however is amazing, that makes it worth buying one.

They really need 2 analogs on the psp as well, FPS games completely suck, the controls take way to long to get used to.

I think hardware-wise, the PSP is alright, especially for homebrew and such. However, I think that the design of the PSP is extremely uncomfortable on the hands after an hour or so of playing. This is even more so true because of having only one analog stick, so the controls end up being more complicated than they need to be, at least in some games I have played. If you really want a PSP, your best bet is to get one of those extenders that your PSP snaps into. It basically has Dualshock-esque handles, making the PSP more comfortable to play.

Eek, but we're supposed to be discussing the DS in this room. Whoops.

The best game on that DS list is Ace Attorney: Apollo Justice.

That is the new one right? I haven't had a chance to try out the Ace Attorney series yet.

Yes, it is the 4th game in the Phoenix Wright series, though Phoenix Wright is no longer the main character. You should play the first 3 games first, they are BY FAR the best games on the DS, IMO.

I've been thinking of trying the Phoenix Wright games out, when I have the moolah. It was right after Phantom Hourglass on my to-get list.

I've just picked up Professor Layton and the Curious Village, but haven't tried it out yet. I'm playing LoZ: PH instead... I really want to try out Ninja Gaiden since it got pretty good reviews.

I've heard great things about that game, it's a Nintendo first party game, so you know it's gonna be decent. What do you think of Zelda? I have heard mixed reviews about it on the DS. Ninja Gaiden does look like a good game, reviews have all been strong for it so far.

The one game I still have yet to play is The new super mario bros., I got a chance to try it for a few minutes and thought it was amazing.

As different as PH is from other Zelda games, I love it so far. The controls and puzzles are just plain fun. I definitely suggest taking a copy home to try if you get a trade-in. I mean, it's already used anyways, right?

New Super Mario Bros. was pretty fun, or at least the first world was. I really should finish it... It's got a nice familiar feel but seems updated. I love my 2D Mario games.
