Gaming Generations was established in January 2007. Our initial thought was to open a video game system repair shop, seeing that is what we had been doing for many years online. Shortly after opening, we decided to start buying and selling games & DVD's, it seemed only natural. After buying and selling games, we realized around 20% of the discs that came in were scratched up, so we figured it would be in our best interest to order an expensive disc repair machine. This repair machine helped us save so many discs, for us, and for customers. We didn't stop there, within the next year, we started hosting annual gaming tournaments and we became very involved in the community. And then came the game room, 8 LCD TV's, each with an Xbox live ready Xbox 360 hooked up. We can't forget about our arcade room at the La Crosse store, 9 classics from the 80's & early 90's.
With all of this tournament and community stuff going on, we wanted to spread the word across the internet, so we decided to start a website for our stores. Our website creator, Jarrod, had a few great ideas to get things going online. With the gaming industry being very strong & business going well, we were able to start selling our overstock games, systems and accessories online. Since we opened we have met many wholesale supplier companies. This enabled us to also wholesale out new and used games, systems, and accessories to smaller companies. We have since expanded to two locations and are continuing to look for other locations.
We do our best to stay up to date with the latest games and technology. If you ask us our opinion on something, you can expect an honest answer back. We always encourage customers to try things out before they buy them, whether it's a game, controller or whatever it is they are interested in buying. We want you to be 100% sure before buying anything at our store. We consider our stores to be "Specialty Shops" meaning that we offer special services that other places don't.
Now it's time to meet the Gaming Generations team.

Name is Evan, I live in, well near La Crosse, WI. I took over a failing game store back in 2006 and completely flipped it around. Outside of the gaming world, I enjoy doing things outside such as wake boarding, knee boarding, kayaking, snowboarding, mountain biking, camping, etc. etc. My favorite sports include hockey, golf and watching football. Cars are another passion of mine, even though I do not know much about them! I'm not a big fan on writing bio's, sorry mine is plain and boring. What if I told you I hiked the Himalayas for a month and wrestled a tiger shark along the coast of Australia... Would you believe me?
I officially opened under the Gaming Generations name in Jan. of 2007. We have recently expanded to 2 stores during the summer of 08. Our most exciting addition so far at the La Crosse store was our arcade room. In this room we have 9 classic arcades! We are constantly hosting gaming tournaments, usually around 5 big tournaments a year. Our biggest tourney's to date include Halo 3, Guitar Hero and Madden.
My goal with this website is to bring local gamers together. It's difficult meeting gamers around your area, trust me I know this! In addition to that, I want to have a site that will give users the most up to date information on the video game world. Bottom line, we are all here to have fun w/ this business. If we're not having fun anymore, then I guess we'll have to find something new to do :-) |

I possess superhuman speed and strength, which is exhibited in most, if not all repairs. Two of his most notable abilities are his arm cannon, which primarily shoots plasma projectiles, and his Weapon Copy skill derived from his old ability to learn how a tool is used simply by seeing it in action before he was "upgraded" to a fighting robot. This ability allows him to gain skills from enemies he has defeated. |
