Madden 09 Tournament Sat. Aug. 16th

We will be hosting our first ever Madden tournament Aug. 16th.
Whats up everybody! After hearing many people over the past year complain about never having a Madden tournament at the store, we felt that it was finally time to host one. I am very excited to announce our next tournament Madden 09 on the Xbox 360. Below is some info. and basic rules.

- Tourney will start at 12:00 on Aug. 16th.
- Must be at least 10 years old to enter.
- Cost will be $5 if you sign up ahead of time, $10 day of.
- A max of 60 players will be allowed in.
- Play as any current NFL team you would like, excluding all special teams & old teams.
- 3 minute quarters.
- Tournament will be bracket style, single elimination.
- Re-entry may be available if spots are open.
- 3 30 timeouts per player.
- Players that show up more than 5 minutes late to a match forfeit the game.
- Players that win will play the next person in their bracket.

THE OFFICIAL BRACKET CAN BE FOUND HERE. IT WILL BE UPDATED EVERY NIGHT! Conrad has been on the bracket since we opened the store, he is number 1 seed.
Prizes include:
1st Place: $200
2nd Place: $100
3rd Place: $50
To add to the excitement, we are starting up a Madden 09 game league on Thursday Aug. 21st. This will go on for 4 weeks, and the top players will take home a pair of packer tickets, a 25" LCD t.v. or a $100 gift card to Kwik Trip. More prizes will be given, but that is all we know for sure so far. Only 32 spots will be available, so if you are interested please let us know. More info. will be available on our Madden league w/in the next week or two.

Call of Duty 4 Game Night Fri. 25th

For this Friday's game night we are playing Call of Duty 4 on the Xbox 360. As of now the official rules are not drawn up and they probably will not be until we figure out how many people are showing up. This is your chance to take home some cash or in store credit for only a few hours of your time! We had around 20 people show up to our first game night, so your chances of winning this weeks game night will most likely be around 1 in 20, that's way better odds than casino's!

Halo 3 Tournament July 19th

We will be holding a Halo 3 4v4 MLG Settings tournament on July 19th. It will use the most up to date settings released by MLG. Tournament will start at 12 p.m. You can find the MLG settings HERE. Entry fee like usual will be $5 per person.
For all of you wondering about the Halo team, we have picked out 8 players to play. Spots are still available depending on skill level, we are always looking for more players who are somewhat dedicated to come join the team. July 19th we should have everyone at the store that has qualified for the team already. We will also name our final GG team after this tournament!
